Weather
The inland mountain climate includes a frost free period in spring, hot summers days with cool valley breezes at night, heavy frosts in winter, high rainfall distributed over the year. There is generally little wind and it is a more consistent climate than south of the Dividing Range as many of the weather fronts that bring change do not reach north over the Divide. Consequently the number of sunny hours in the year is high.
