The Riverdeck Cafe - behind the Visitors Information Centre overlooking the river and playground... delicious menu, coffee and fantastic views
Food Wine Friends – Brights gourmet store offering an innovative little lunch menu and coffee n’ cake all day
The Smoko Big Shed Cafe - just 15mins out of Bright the Big Shed is a favourite Fri-Sun, all homemade food and views of the mountains!
Red Stag Deer Farm - 15mins in the opposite direction, dont go past the Cafe at the deer farm for a memorable lunch, try the venison pies and savour (yet again) the view on the new balcony.

Wine & Beer

The Great Alpine Valleys plays host to numerous award winning wineries and boutique breweries, with many located near bright. The valleys are perfect for producing cool climate wines and hand crafted beers so make sure you drop in and give your approval. Here are a few local suggestions;

Bright Brewery - offering award winning mountain crafted beer, relax with a beer overlooking the river and enjoy the atmosphere, there is usually a band on Sundays! Nurture... your thirst soon.
Boyntons Winery - Just 10km from Bright near Porepunkah you will discover Boyntons Vineyard, the cafe is open seasonally and the wines are superb and the view of Mt Buffalo, well you really need to see that for yourself...
Ringer Reef - Situated in Porepunkah the Ringer Reef cellar door offers an intimate tasting experience to be remembered.

Local Produce

We also have on offer apple orchards, chestnut, walnut and olive groves, berries galore, the trout and salmon farm, cheese and smoked smallgoods, so much of our locally grown produce just waiting to be tasted!
